The Grantham Tennis Club launches “Feeling Good!” Friday sessions to improve mental and physical health
The Grantham Tennis Club is starting “come and try” sessions next week to help people stay healthy both mentally and physically.
The “Feeling Good!” The fun tennis sessions start at 1 p.m. on Friday 7 May and are supported by an NHS grant that promotes active and healthy lifestyles in communities. The two-hour sessions are free and will take place at a safe and gentle pace with an emphasis on relaxation, sharing and enjoying the moment.
Dale Wright, manager of community engagement at the club, said: “This is an opportunity not to be missed as it is guaranteed to be fun and healthy exercise for adults of all ages in a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.
“Our well established Wednesday” Feeling Good! The group has an age range of 20 to 86 years old and it is just fantastic to be part of a real community activity in which everyone feels valued and energized, regardless of their background and experience.
All equipment is provided with fresh fruit during the half-time social break.
